U9 Minor (Gander Minor Hockey)

Good Day U9 Players/Guardians! You may have noticed on our practice schedule that next week we have no practices. Kraft Hockeyville will be here so there are no ice times available for GMHA.  Kent & PJ Sports will have a practice tomorrow Friday Sept 30th at 6pm. The next practice after that is not until Saturday Oct 8th at 8 am which will be for Kent & KW.  If you haven't submitted your child's name for a chance to win tickets to the Hockeyville practice next Thursday do so quickly! Reminder!! U9 Minor starts today, Wednesday Sept 21st at 5pm. This Practice is for Keller Williams Platinum Realty and Kent! I will be at the arena at 430pm to give out Jerseys. Please try to come early as this may take some time.  PJ Sports will be starting on Friday Sept 23rd at 6pm. I will be at the arena at 530pm for jerseys. Hello U9!  By now you should have received an email from Gander Minor Hockey Association giving instructions to download the app called "Sportsheadz". This app will be what we are using to communicate information to parents/players this year. Once you download the app, create an account. You will then search "Gander Minor Hockey", all of the teams in our association will then show up. Type in your team name and request to join that team. Please request to join as a parent/guardian. We are getting close to our start date! All players who are registered have now been been assigned to a team! We have three teams for the U9 division. If you are just registering, that’s ok! Any newly registered players will be assigned to a team once they load into the system! The schedule is uploaded from now to the end of October. You should also have received an email explaining how to join the new Sportsheadz app. Some players will have their first practice on Wednesday and some on Friday depending on what team they are on.
